YamYam Milestone

 

Well here it is! The 100th ever YamYam post.

 

Some stats for you, so hold on tight. Since January I have:

• Travelled over 35,000 miles
• Owned 4 motorcycles
• Ridden 7 motorcycles
• Been to 3 countries on my bike
• Had 2 accidents
• Seen 3 accidents
• Spent over £3000 on petrol
• Did 5 wheelies
• Did 2 wheelspins (static)
• Did 1 wheelspin (moving) (Buell) (wet slip road)
• Successfully weathered 4 seasons of insane Scottish weather
• Spent over £2400 on gear, whether it’s clothing/bits and bobs
• Written over 35,500 words (that’s around 1 word per mile that I have travelled!)
• Posted around 2,500 photos!!
• Taken around 4,000 photos!!!!
• Had over 14,000 views

But most of all I have:

• Fulfilled a dream
• Fulfilled another dream when Blair got his bike
• Met some amazing people
• Seen some amazing things
• Found my dream bike
• Regretted not one minute of it all

I am so chuffed. When I started this I didn’t think I would keep it up as long as this. I usually get bored and find other things to satisfy my time, but I have put in so much effort that I am through the potentially-bored period and it’s now built in to my life. I am so pleased that so many people have visited and even left comments.

There’s been some deep lows and some amazing highs, but that’s what it’s all about. Experiencing something new and something which most people don’t understand. Here’s to another 100!
