SHARP Helmet Ratings released!Oh dear…

Well the SHARP ratings have finally been released and all I can say is oh dear. My crop of helmets have had a mixed result:

The Shark S800, my first helmet, gained a worthy 4 stars out of 5.

My beloved Shoei XR-1000 got a disappointing 3 out of 5 and my current helmet, my AGV GP-Tech isn’t up yet.

Emma’s AGV K-Series got a disappointing 3 stars as well but for £80, it’s not bad…my XR-1000 cost £250.

Blair’s Schuberth S1 isn’t up yet but Kirsty’s AGV Airtech got a brilliant 4 out of 5 stars and I don’t think it was too much dearer than Em’s K-Series.

The AGV Ti-Tech got 4 stars, so perhaps the GP-Tech will get 5? Who knows. The only AGV with 5 stars is the S-4, which I wanted but didn’t fit my head.

A big surprise was Nitro helmets which got mostly 4 stars! However there was a 2star job thrown in for balance.

There were a few 5 stars, including Bell, HJC, Lazer and Shark. Very very surprising.

Oh well, I guess we’ll just have to wait for the rest to be posted up, but for now all I can say is it’s all very interesting.
